Glitterati

I'm still, along with every other female on the planet, completely in love with the Miu Miu AW11 shoe collection, but try as I might still can't seem to get my grubby mits on any my favourite pieces.

It seems I have been cursed with a generic, global shoe size (size 6, I know) which makes owning beauties like these, impossible

They have the glitter/pony skin ones in my size and I ADORE them but I am just a little unsure about the slingback...
I don't love them as much as I love the ankle boot style but they are still completely dreamy. Someone please make a decision for me or track down any of the above in my size and I will be forever in your debt.

Merci

Snake Detail Cluch

I came across this clutch in the Spanish store Stradivarius. It's a pretty good size and will dress up the most casual outift. And at  €19.95 it's a steal!

In The Mountain in the Cloud

I've just pre-ordered a copy of the new Portugal. The Man album, 'In The Mountain in the Cloud', which comes out in the UK TOMORROW!

If this video, and song is anything to go by it will be truly spectacular. Unfortunately for me they are playing in Glasgow on Tuesday! If you are in the area, go see them at the Captains Rest. I Guarantee you wont be disappointed!

OWNED!

The floral Zara shirt from the November lookbook is now a permanent resident in my closet! It was too wet in Barcelona today to show it off so I just wore it around my hotel room for a few hours before it got too hot to breathe...

Arm Candy

I'm still obsessing over friendship bracelets, infact, any type of makeshift bracelet will do. It reminds me of being 16 again. Me and my friends would go to the Art Store and buy a million beads and all make bracelets for one another (I still have them, I'll try to dig them out when I get home)

There's just something so charming about them, and the fact that they are all completely unique (if handmade, of course)

I especially love this woven DIY number done on a gold link bracelet!

I also want to pick up the other two colours of this intricate plait bracelet (I have the black one) which are all handmade in Africa and available from Vagabond Van (blog to follow VERY soon)

Wearing all 3 together would transform an otherwise boring arm into a beaded wonderland!

I found a really cool bead store in El Gotico in Barcelona. I'm going to go back tomorrow and see if I can find any gems!

Zara November Lookbook

I've been in Barcelona for 4 days now and can't help but visit every Zara shop I see- which, is on every corner of every street- even next door to my hotel!

After a hard days work, I decided to treat myself (I seem to be doing that a lot lately) to a lovely leather shopper, I couldn't resist. I adore this type of soft leather and the colours are great together.

As if I haven't visited enough stores already, I decided to have a little browse online and was promptly smacked in the face with the November Lookbook.

I NEED THAT FLORAL SHIRT IN MY LIFE. To say I'm obsessed with the looks is an understatement- I really like the mix of prints and contrasting colour palette. The print on the leggings and skirt remind me of the Pendleton for Opening Ceremony Collection, which, due to lack of funds,  I unfortunately missed out on.

I will be visiting every store until I leave next Friday with the hope that some of these pieces will be introduced into my wardrobe very soon.

Adios!

Visual Dreamland

I'm currently in Barcelona with work, laying in bed in my hotel trying to recover from my tapas food coma. Perusing the interweb,  I uncovered an old photobucket page I forgot I had and came across these shots I took of a window display in the Disney Store on 5th Avenue, New York in 2007.

They are so utterly dreamy I just had to share them! Does anyone have any photo's/tales of any other amazing window displays they've seen on their travels? I'd love to see/hear about them!

Louis Vuitton Fetish Boots

In Scotland, it rains around 90% of the year. This isn't based on actual figures but that's what it feels like anyway (yes, even in Summer...)

Unfortunately the classic Wellies are usually clumpy, ugly and make your legs look like a little like this... UNTIL NOW! The amazing Louis Vuitton Fetish Boots have arrived in store and are the things dreams are made of- unfortunately for me though I don't have the spare $1040 that they retail for.

A little more affordable would be these Gucci Devendra Wellies, I'm still not sure I'd like to pay £190 for a pair of rubber shoes though...

So it looks like my hunt continues, or until the high street start knocking out the replicas!

COS

So...I have been a little absent from the blogosphere for a while now. I have been stuck a creative slump and unable to dig myself out, until now!

I have left my old job and just started as the Visual Manager at the COS (Collection of Style) store in Glasgow. I know getting back into a creative role is exactly what I've been missing and know it won't be long until my creative juices start flowing again outside of work.

The COS image is everything which appeals to me, luxe fabrics, knitwear, oversized sweaters, and collars galore! The minimal style and enticing colour palette is right up my street, I'm so excited to get stuck in.

Here are a few of my favourite pieces from the womenswear collection

However, if you are near a store, I seriously suggest you visit as there are much more amazing pieces in store.

All of the above items are available from here- if you live in Europe- to anyone outside of Europe, please be patient! I'm sure it won't be long until COS takes over the world!
